Music, effects, voice, on the timeline.
The preview plays the same mix as the render, once the page has been touched.
Tracks with ducking.
A track is a sound on the video's own timeline: kind (music, sfx or voice), a source, a start, a duration, an offset, a volume, fades, a loop and a credit. Ducking dips the music under voice and effects. The browser render mixes the tracks to one stereo bus and writes one AAC track into the MP4.
- At most 24 tracks per video
- Upload your own sound or use an https address
- Browsers keep a page silent until you touch it
Honest note
The sound library is optional.
- Pre-betaYour own sound
Always works: upload a file or give an https address, and write a credit.
- Pre-betaA licensed library
Video can search a library of licensed music and effects when the deployment has one connected. On a deployment without one, the search says so.
- Not offeredNo generated music or speech
Video does not generate sound.
Questions
About sound.
Can I add music and sound?
Yes: up to 24 tracks of music, effects and voice per scene video, with fades, loops and ducking. Upload your own sound or use an https address. A library of licensed music and effects is available only where the deployment has one connected.
Why is the preview silent?
Browsers keep a page silent until you have touched it. Click or tap the page and the preview plays the same mix as the render.
